Software and documentation updates
Focused on reducing barriers to adoption by artists with limited coding experience
- Dietrich Squinkifer carried out a substantial refactoring of our software, and added features such as:
- A "link tree" at the end of performances
- Custom styling such as font and colours can be added via a settings file
- Character roles can be added via a settings file
- Other features were added by one of the commissioned artists, via a pull request on our Github repo:
- The app can select one audience submission at random from a pool of suggestions
- Ability for the moderator to "force" a selection regardless of audience votes
- Ability for the moderator to send a message to all audience members
- PJ Henning updated our documentation in response to feedback from commissioned artists
